Descrição da vaga: | - Monitoring and Quoting. Monitor and provide quotations for incoming requests related to either single flights, short/medium term charter projects, long term ACMI leases. Ensure all administration associated with each project is carried out effectively including but not limited to arranging of the file and legal correspondence. Ensure all invoices are raised with correct and accurate information and paid to a specific time scale. Ensure all contracting agreements are accurate and legally compliant. Maintain a database of Latin American cargo charter operators. Project Management. Act as liaison between all the relevant parties to ensure clients, expectations are met. Adopt a proactive approach to identifying potential problems and develop contingency plans to tackle these. Delegate duties and ensure effective communication between all the parties involved. Gather feedback from customer/supplier to monitor performance of all parties in project delivery. Review feedback and performance to identify good and bad practice. Identify improvements for future projects. Business development. Based on market research to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Other, Maintain up to date and detailed knowledge of the aviation market. Carry out ongoing market and competitor research. Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role and within the competence of the role holder to include additional hours working when required. Be aware of and comply with the company policies.
- Experience within the aviation industry, preferably within the air charters market plus.
- Knowledge of the main players i.e. customers, suppliers and competitors. Educated to degree level in relevant area e.g. transport management, business management. Ability to process information quickly. Applies personal organisation strategies and process to prioritise and effectively manage a large and diverse workload in a pressured environment. Strong time management skills with the ability to plan ahead, anticipate requirements, problems and obstacles and an ability to juggle competing priorities successfully and to work to tight deadlines. Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision. High level of administration skills to aid personal organisation. The ability to influence others, to liaise with a wide range of people at all levels and across different cultures and to act with creditability, tact and diplomacy. Verbal and written fluency in English. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a good rapport with established contacts. High degree of computer literacy and particularly an excellent knowledge of Word processing and spread sheets. Sound Knowledge of basic financial documentation (Invoicing, credit notes etc). Ability to account and budget for each project with the purpose of maximising profits. Ability to structure each individual project in accordance with its specific nature and deadlines and monitor and follow up the detail of the project as and when required. Ability to devise and operate to contingency plans where necessary. Ability to delegate project work effectively where necessary and to hand over responsibilities in a structured and clear manner. Ability to collect the right information in necessary quantities and to determine how much information needs to be communicated to each participant of the project. Ability to work closely with clients to establish requirements to establish and identify appropriate solutions. Ability to liaise effectively between customers and suppliers and to act as a catalyst between the two sides. Knowledge of the market situation at the given moment, which would allow identification of the best solution for a given request. Ability to identify opportunities to grow business in new and existing markets. Thorough understanding of the market to identify business opportunities both small and large scale. Ability to keep up with the market changes to keep ahead of worldwide events and use this to identify business opportunities. Maintains a calm disposition and positive outlook particularly when working under pressure. Flexibility to change working hours and patterns if necessary. Trustworthy in all aspects of the role. Self motivated and able to work both individually and as part of a team with minimum supervision. Commitment to the aims and objectives of Chapman Freeborn.
